Coverage

- Extensive buildings insurance: A comprehensive insurance policy that covers property damage due to a sudden accidental cause.
- Robbery and theft: Robbery and theft within the home and muggings in the street.
- Extension of water damage coverage: We cover the SegurCaixa water leakage repair expenses from exposed piping, even though they do not cause damage, and blocked pipes.
- Extension of aesthetic damage to buildings: Extension of indemnity capital to re-establish the aesthetic harmony of the home.
- Third-party liability: Coverage of damage that may be caused to third parties by you or your pets. Furthermore, your policy covers third-party liability arising from the ownership of potentially dangerous animals. Indemnity capital of up to €300,000 with the possibility of extending indemnity capital to €600,000 and €1.5 million.
- Deterioration of refrigerated foodstuffs or medicines: We cover the damage caused by the breakdown of refrigerators or freezers for more than six consecutive hours as a result of lack of supply or breakdowns.
- Professional services: When you need to carry out a refurbishment or a repair at your home not covered by the policy, we will provide you with a network of trusted professionals who will provide you with a commitment-free quotation at no charge, since we will assume the cost of the professional’s visit.
Optional coverage
- Jewels up to €10.000: Jewels that have an individual value of over €400 must be insured through this optional coverage. All jewels that do not exceed this individual value must be included in the contents insurance.
- Objects with a value up to €10,000: Those objects of value whose individual value exceeds €3,000 must be insured through this optional coverage. All objects of value that do not exceed this individual value must be included in the contents insurance.
- Garden furniture: Coverage of up to 5% of the contents insurance taken out.
- Legal protection for second homes.

In the event of a claim, we undertake to offer the best service. Characteristics
- Easy to arrange: without the need to describe the objects of value or the jewels.
- Annual payment method, but you can also pay in monthly, quarterly or half-yearly instalments.
- No advance payments: when the damage suffered is covered by the policy, you will not need to make an advance payment.
- Speed: if, as a result of a claim, your home became inhabitable*, you will receive a visit from a workman in a maximum period of three hours.
*Due to an absence of electricity in the entire home, kitchen or bathroom, provided that the breakdown occurs in the home’s installation; due to the breakage of any fixed water pipes in the home that cause damage to the property of the insured party or third parties that require the closure of the general water stopcock; or due to the breakage of glass that forms part of the window enclosures, leading to a lack of protection with respect to meteorological phenomena or malicious acts by third parties. For water damage emergencies, provided that they occur outside the timetable from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and can be resolved by turning off the stopcock, telephone advice will be provided to shut off the water, without affecting the right to have the repair dealt with the next day in coordination with the customer.
