What does the animal well-being law state about pet insurance?

With the entry into force of the animal well-being law on 29 September 2023, it will be obligatory, among other matters, for dog owners to have a third-party liability insurance policy to cover the damage caused to third parties by their pet. Hence, they will be protected if the animal does damage to other dogs, people or property.
