What it consists of
What is refractive surgery?
As a type of precision surgery, refractive surgery arose from the application of lasers to surgical techniques without the use of surgical materials and sutures or any postoperative pain.
It is performed under local anaesthesia and hospitalisation is not necessary in most cases. The procedure usually lasts 10 to 15 minutes and sight is recovered immediately.
